First layer: My broker generates detailed reports of my portfolio. According to the broker, my reports are GIPS complaints.
Second layer: Fund administrator double-checks transactions, returns, and other parameters.
Third layer: The Auditor audits the portfolio returns and so on. In brief, we have ample layers of checks and balances.
